Mesquite Door with Tin Patching
An antique Mexican door and antique wood make up this rustic front entry. All of the wonderful original hardware and ornamentation, such as the iron clavos and two unusual hasps were retained. Salvaged tin was hammered flat and added as patches. The handle on the front of the door is an antique machine lever, the handle on the back is half of an enormous pull ring. The door was minimally refinished to feature the patina of the aged mesquite and the antique wood used to flesh out the door.
