In considering the options for this townhouse kitchen remodel, our clients wanted to open up the space, bring in lots of light and keep the feeling airy. For the cabinetry, they didn’t want a new look, they wanted it to look as though it had been there all along. Antique carved material is incorporated throughout the kitchen, and the multi-hued, hand-rubbed finish accents the carving and complements the pale designs on the tile work. The skylight and a giant awning style window achieve the airy feel, seeming to bring in the greenery from outside.
Details include self-closing drawers, hidden trash & recycle bins, an open plate rack and shelving, crown moulding and beautifully carved refrigerator and stove hood surrounds.
