A hasp is defined as: a slotted hinged metal plate that forms part of a fastening for a door or lid and is fitted over a metal loop and secured by a pin or padlock. We define our antique hasps as functioning decorative hardware. There are more modern ways to secure your gate or door, but why would you want to do that?
Here we have a pair of living room patio doors. Made with a pair of antique doors and reclaimed lumber, the doors feature operable shutters, head bolts and an antique hasp.
