Double Gate with Shutters
Tin-topped Entry Gate
This handsome double gate with shutters was hand-crafted using reclaimed lumber. The operable shutters are fitted with custom iron grillwork with decorative scrolls. The gate is trimmed with salvaged tin ceiling tiles that have been hammered flat and quilted in place with tiny nails. An astragal is capped on both end with finials from antique dowry chests. And for security, a hand cast bronze entry handle set has a deadbolt with round key flap and a matching foot bolt on the inside.
