Door with Sidelights
Front Entry
Door with sidelights constructed from a pair of antique Indian doors, a carved antique panel and salvaged Douglas fir. The two skinny doors were fleshed out with reclaimed lumber. A moulding flourish was added to the top and bottom. The sidelights are operable shutters set with seeded glass, with carved antique panels accenting the bases, front and back. In the original version of the door the backs of the antique doors were visible. The final version has panels with iron clavos filling in the backs of the doors.
