Corbel and Column Mantel
Custom Fireplace Mantel with Surround
At over six feet tall, this massive corbel and column mantel and surround are the focal point of a great room in a recent remodel. It was constructed with an antique carved corbel, a pair of antique columns and salvaged Douglas fir. Additional photos include details of the mantel and the antique carved corbel used, as well as the mantel in the finish shop, which helps to illustrate the scale of the piece.
